The Common Core Standard for our lesson is: CCSS.Math.Content.2.MD.D.10 Draw a picture graph and a bar graph (with single-unit scale) to represent a data set with up to four categories. Solve simple put-together, take-apart, and compare problems using information presented in a bar graph.

1. Group 1
2. I created 3 columns, one for each flavor. Then, I added one ice cream cone for each person that selected that flavor.
3. Strawberry had the most.

2 chocolate, 1 van, & 3 strawberry

Stawberry had the most votes as the favorite type of icecream flavor.

Organized the flavors by the number of responses in each flavor. Strawberry had the most responses with 3.
